As the centerpiece of the Koret Education Initiative, the Koret Task Force on K–12 Education gathers and evaluates data to formulate and disseminate school reform policies in an effort to enhance the quality of the public education system. The Task Force is funded with a $1.5 million grant to the Hoover Institution through 2008.

Koret and Israel Total

Koret has been an active supporter of Israel, Israel education, and advocacy for Israel. At the center of Koret's grantmaking program in Israel is Koret Israel Economic Development Funds (KIEDF), which provides loan guarantees to small-business owners and manages the economic policy research work of the Koret Fellows,a select group of post-graduates who research and develop free-market initiatives under the auspices of legislative and regulatory offices.
