On April 19—the 70th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising—the Museum of the History of Polish Jews will open on the site where the Ghetto once stood. This event offers the first public access to the architecturally distinctive museum and its exhibits, showcasing 1,000 years of Jewish life in Eastern Europe. 
World leaders including Poland’s President Bronisław Komorowski, together with Museum chief architect Rainer Mahlamäki, will participate in this historic event, which will be broadcast live.
In collaboration, Koret and the Taube Foundation for Jewish Life & Culture have provided the largest private contribution to the Museum to date.
