KQED

Established in 1985, the Koret School of Veterinary Medicine at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem is widely considered the top veterinary school in the Middle East. Koret has been a prominent supporter of the School of Veterinary Medicine since the school’s inception, providing extensive capital support of the teaching hospital and a recent $2 million grant that provides the new facility with scholarships for top-notch Israeli scholars and state-of-the-art equipment.

In June 2012, Koret Chair Susan Koret was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from the Hebrew University, recognizing a thirty-year commitment to the university and the State of Israel by Susan and the foundation. Previous recipients of this prestigious degree include Albert Einstein, Harry S, Truman, Henry Kissinger, and Elie Wiesel.
